The buyer’s guide is actually a lot more than just a list of agencies, offering an analysis of market trends and issues within the paid search marketing sector, and is a very good read.
The report shows that the paid search advertising marketplace is in good health with an 18% growth in 2010 £3.2bn (representing the total amount spent on paid search, including both media spend and management fees).
Jake Hird, Senior Research Analyst at Econsultancy, said: “Overall, the paid search market continues to be a key driver of online advertising spending, as it is a proven and highly measurable method of delivering return on investment by successfully driving traffic and increasing sales.”
Encouraging signs for the overall economy in that the majority of companies who took part in Econsultancy’s UK Search Engine Marketing Benchmark Report 2010 were planning to increase paid search budgets in 2010.
Definitely worth a read, but you only need to turn to page 65 if you are looking for a ppc agency! Failing that, just contact us today to see how we may be able to help you.
