Google announced on Wednesday morning that it has begun rolling out mobile editing for Google Docs. The update isn’t yet available for everyone, but it should be available to all over the next few days.
The Google Docs for mobile service will allow you to;
- Access you documents list so you can create, search, star and open your documents on the go.
- Edit your documents – edits you make on your mobile device will appear to other collaborators in seconds
- Edit spreadsheets
- View your documents, PDFs, images and more
- View files you’ve uploaded in the mobile Google Docs Viewer

Google Docs for mobile is currently available on the following handsets:
To give mobile editing a try, visit docs.google.com on your supported mobile device and select the document you want to edit. Then, when you’re viewing it, press the ‘Edit’ button to switch to the mobile editor.
