If you know me well, you will know that I am extremely cynical about most awards within the digital marketing agency sector.
In my humble opinion, there is a depressing correlation between advertising spend / sponsorship and awards won, as a lot of the awards ceremonies are organised by publishers. Whilst a lot of agencies expend a lot of energy / budget chasing awards, we have always focused our energies on trying to help our clients and have typically shunned the glitzy awards nights.
It will therefore probably be a surprise that I want to share the news that Browser Media has been shortlisted in three categories in the 2018 RAR Digital Awards:
For me, these awards are different for the simple fact that the assessment is based entirely on client feedback. No advertising deals, no mutual back scratching, no brown envelopes – just a thorough review of what clients are saying about their agencies and how they rate the work that you do together. There is no entry form and we didn’t have a say in anything. A unique and, if you ask me, most excellent format.
I am extremely proud of the Browser Media team and really pleased to have been shortlisted for three different categories in what I consider to be the most honest awards process in our industry. We are a humble bunch and blowing our own trumpet doesn’t come naturally but I think, on this occasion, we can make some noise and celebrate the achievement.
Well done team and a massive thank you to all our clients who took the time to share their feedback and score our work. It is fantastic to be finalists but even more fantastic to read the glowing feedback and ratings that we have received.
It really does mean a lot to us.
