Five things worth sharing from the last week or so, brought to you by a different member of the Browser Media team every Friday.
This week’s My Five is by Ashleigh.
1. Blue Monday
Did anyone feel a little down on Monday and not realise why? Well it’s OK, it was the 3rd Monday of January, now known as Blue Monday and as always marketing teams were making the most of people’s woes with the #BlueMonday hashtag.
Lots ran competitions to try and cheer consumers up and some just posted cute pictures:

And who needs a reason to post a Leo gif:
2. Philadelphia Police department is ‘totally hip’
With a snow storm fast approaching Philadelphia, Police have used a rather innovative and ‘hip’ way of warning their citizens to not fight with their neighbours by saving shoveled, snow-free parking spaces, which is what is bound to happen with such horrendous weather coming.

3. Microsoft helping companies who want to use cloud computing for ‘public good’
It was announced this week that Microsoft are pledging $1 billion in resources to organisations that working for the ‘public good’. Over the next 3 years the technology giant won’t be handing out any cash but access to servers and services that these organisations would have had to pay a lot of money for.
Microsoft’s chief legal officer Brad Smith wrote:
“Cloud services can unlock the secrets held by data in ways that create new insights and lead to breakthroughs, not just for science and technology, but for addressing the full range of economic and social challenges and the delivery of better human services.“
Money will also be going towards improving internet connectivity in countries that are ‘under connected’ so that more people can experience having broadband in their homes.
4. #ShirtlessShamers2016
Another story that I came across this week is about Lindsey, known as @CardsAgstHrsmt and her great put downs for guys that think it’s ‘cool’ to post half naked selfies, but also think that “if you post pics half naked you are not wife material”. She posts comments on these guys’ photos, tagged with the hashtag #ShirtlessShamers2016:
Gee I don't know, maybe we should ask your mom? ??#shirtlessshamers2016 pic.twitter.com/nAtL62PQ2V

5. Find your dog twin
Another fantastic Twitter account that I came across this week was @YouAreDogNow. A great Twitter feed that takes photos of people / groups and finds the dog equivalent.
It’s hilarious. Here are two of my favourites:
