About Beers & Ideas
Beers & Ideas is an informal social event designed to bring together junior and early years marketing enthusiasts in and around Colchester to meet and connect with others. We hope December’s gathering will be the first of many more get-togethers.
The early years of your career in this ever-evolving industry can be daunting, but meeting some friendly faces from within the (digital) marketing space will not only increase your connections but also help to build your confidence and knowledge within the sector.
Here’s what you can expect:
Make new connections: Beers & Ideas is a chance to chat with like-minded people, sharing what it’s like to be in your first few years and first few roles within our industry. Our team will be here to welcome you into our new office space and introduce you to fellow marketing enthusiasts. The event is relaxed and informal, so no need to prepare. Just bring yourself and be ready to chat, eat and drink!
Help us help you: We’d love to run future Beers & Ideas events that focus on helping other marketers in different areas of the field. You’re welcome to ask us any questions about working in digital marketing or about specific areas or changes within the industry. But you’re also more than welcome to simply listen and socialise.
This December event is the ideal opportunity for us to hear what you’d love to learn more about. Whilst chatting with us and others, there will be the opportunity to fill out an anonymous survey, telling us what aspects of digital marketing you’d appreciate knowing more about. Our future events can hone in on these areas, helping you understand and develop your marketing skills in a friendly environment. If you want a say in what we offer next, you’ll need to be there.
Food and drinks: It’s not all business – Beers & Ideas is designed to be a casual evening. Refreshments will be available to enjoy whilst the conversations flow – after all, great ideas often flow more freely over some food and drink! Don’t let the name Beers & Ideas fool you; other drinks will also be served.
The event is hosted at our vibrant Colchester office, just a five-minute walk from the town centre. Parking is available right around the corner in Butt Road Car Park. Ideally located close to town, there’s always the possibility of the event continuing on afterwards if the two hours run away from us!
